About five days ago I was walking home from the bar, and yes I did have a couple of drinks. On my way home a felt a little pain and looked down and realized I was covered with blood. Now I am on the Depo shot and have not gotten my period in over 3 years, and i hardly ever spot. This night it was massive bleeding. It was so bad that it got all over my feet, legs, stomach, hands... all over my clothes and everything else I was around. I didn't have much pain, but I thought about it and before this happened i had some other symptoms. I was not peeing frequently (even if i drank gallons of water), my stomach was very bloaded, decrease in appetite, and diarrhea. I was taken to the ER and the doctor there was very uncertain of what may have been going on. He basically told me it could be spotting from being on the shot, but this was not spotting i lost a massive amount of blood. (i have never seen this much blood in my life) And he also said it could possibly be a cyst that had errupted. I was told to see a speacialist and see what they had to say. I am nervous about the situation. Since the bleeding has basically stopped, but i still get pain in my lower stomach and pelvic region. I am having troubles with insurance, being a graduate student, and have yet to be able to go to a speacialist. I was just curious if anyone has had this happen to them, or had any answers.
thanks

I had a fourth degree laceration with my second delivery. It was a forceps delivery. Since then, I have had problems with bladder and bowel control. I was diagnosed with a second degree cystocele and first degree rectocele about a year ago. I haven't had any problems with them until about a month ago. During my last period, I was changing my tampon and noticed a large bulge coming from my vagina. I also had lower back pain and cramping, which has continued since I discovered the bulge (which is my bladder prolapsing). I was wondering how many women have significant discomfort with a second degree cystocele, what is the cause of the discomfort, and why is this considered and elective surgery if one is having discomfort. I have had significant discomfort for the past month and my urogynecologist has dealt with the whole situation very passively. I am very discouraged, have been on pain medication for over a month, and I wonder why I must wait so long to get help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I have a case of some weird symmetrical foot discoloration going on. On the outer sides of both my feet, starting from the tops of my 3rd toe to the 5th, I have a symmetrical discoloration which extends half-way down the face of my foot. It's been like this for a few years now. I've gone to see doctors who can't determine what exactly it is, but I've been mainly hearing that it's a vascular disorder. I'm so self-conscious about it and it keeps me from being able to wear any open toed shoes. Is there someone who can give me advice on how to treat it? Please help!

I desperately need to have an gyn exam because I have PCOS and need to get back on the pill or other treatment. My symptoms are getting out of control (excess dark hair, especially on face, constant oily skin/acne, no periods, etc.). But I dread going to the ob/gyn because almost everytime I go, the exam is very painful. Only a couple of times in the past 12 years have not been painful, and I don't just mean discomfort but real pain! It often feels like someone is ripping my flesh when the speculum opens. I try telling the doctor and nurse this before they start but no one takes me seriously. They always say "I won't hurt you" or Dr. So and so is great. She won't hurt you." But I almost always have a bad experience. Although I'm 31, I've never had sex. I can't date because I'm embarrassed about my condition and I feel unattractive. I can't keep up with the hair removal. But I hesitate to go back to the doctor because the examination is so bad! What can I do? Help, please!!! Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?

I am 30 years old living with Von Willebrands disease and severe Endometriosis. The past 2 years my menstruals have gotton worse and lasting longer and heavier than before. My Dr.wanted to do a full Hysterectomy but my Von Willebrands levels are not where they need to be for Surgery. Now they wanna do a Tuble Ligation. Novasure Ablation and a DNC. What are my chances of still needing a Hysterectomy down the road? And are the percentages pretty accurate. 60% that 6 months later I would have no pain. 80-90% no periods and 5% that the procedure would fail. Thanks for taking the time to read this even if you can not be at any help.
