Guidelines to participation in the OBGYN.net WIKI Project

The purpose and intent of the OBGYN.net WIKI Project is to encourage and enable the sharing of information and resources as a positive experience. This is the place to share your experiences with other women and share what has worked for you.

We ask you to share your tips and methods:

• Discussing your condition with friends and family
• Work and school related issues
• Filing Insurance claims or what to do if you have no insurance
• Comfort measures – favorite recipes, books, movies
• Surgery – preparation for and recovery from
• Support groups – are you a member of a local chapter? Share meeting information with others in your area.

We ask you to share your positive experiences:

• Did you meet a doctor who you feel showed exceptional skill in treating you?
• Were you treated at a surgery center that showed an extraordinary level of patient care?

You are invited to reveal the names of those who stand out in the field of delivering healthcare. You are asked to share your positive experiences and share names so that other women may also find themselves in such caring and skilled hands.

The OBGYN.net WIKI Project is not to be used to air complaints about the medical industry, specific doctors, nurses or treatment centers. We respectfully ask that you disguise the names and locations of any negative commentary that may be necessary to be included in the telling of your story.

The administrators of the OBGYN.net WIKI project reserve the right to edit or remove content that we feel is libelous in nature or otherwise exposes all of us, including you the poster, to potential legal action.

Your privacy is important to us, please use nicknames and do not disclose your address, phone number or other identifying information. All material included in the OBGYN.net WIKI Project is available to anyone with Internet access and will be archived and available via third party search engine.
