About Jyn: Jyn Meyer is a married 30 yr old photographer and stay-at-home mother of 5 children, recently pregnant with her 6th. She has had both OBGyn and Certified Nurse Midwife births in multiple states and has been through many different medical scenerios in pregnancy and postpartum. She has had four unmedicated births and one epidural birth, all natural, and has endured one miscarriage. Jyn likes to help others be informed about their options and resources and have better communication with their medical provider. She enjoys talking to others about her experiences, hoping that it will help others investigate all of their options in their medical situations. Jyn currently is a freelance photographer and has a large medical photograph portfolio that is used in many medical professions from teen pregnancy to nursing and childhood illnesses. She loves pregnancy and birth and her children range in ages of 8 yrs old to 15 mos. Jyn says:"I feel we are our best medical advocates. Remember to ask questions of your doctor and prepare yourself a list of questions you may have when going into your appointments to get the best outcome from your medical visit!"
